Will Always Love You
The photos were taken outside Chicago in 1954. I found the anonymous pictures for sale in upstate New York. The etchings are from “Anatomische Atlas,” which was published in 1974. I found a copy in a junk shop near Munster, Germany. One year early, in 1973, Dolly Parton wrote “I Will Always Love You,” which continues to be covered by new artists every year. I shared my compilation of these elements with four artists and writers. Their responses are included: Mike Albo, Jameson Fitzpatrick, Emily Dunne, and Bridget McGuire.
